Job summary

Twin City Fan in Mitchell, SD seeks a Production Support Associate to help with training plans, 5S improvements, and daily lean initiatives. You will assist with cross training, safety, and standard work in a busy manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes teamwork and safeguarding product quality before shipment.

The position also supports continuous improvement, housekeeping, and efficient changeovers to sustain on-time delivery while following ISO-9000 procedures and LDMS board updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others; team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist with department training plan, progress, and cross training efforts to increase flexibility and ensure 100% coverage
• Ensure Quality checks and paperwork is complete before product leaves department.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Assist with 5S improvements, Visual Factory Improvements, and Changeover/Setup Reductions
• Maintains a clean working environment and safe housekeeping practices
• Maintain Continuous Improvement mindset within the production teams
• Communicate daily information to Value Stream Leaders
• Coordinate maintenance with MMS and schedule department work orders
• Ensure safe and timely production of scheduled deliverables
