Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years in media production or related field.
• Hands-on experience producing photography and video projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple productions, schedules, and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Able to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and production support for photo and video shoots.
• Assist with organizing production schedules, calendars, equipment inventory, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production Coordinator on locations, releases, call sheets, and logistics.
• Act as liaison between creative teams, campus partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Organize, transport, and track production equipment and materials.
• Manage digital assets, project archives, and media libraries.
• Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and email correspondence.
• Collaborate with Photo/Video, Public Affairs, Brand Marketing, and VCU News.
• Maintain communication to support timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and workflows.
