This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This involves maintaining product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations, and teamwork to create a positive shopping and working environment.

Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce products according to standards, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. The role may also include duties of a floral clerk when assigned.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in training and team efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Language Skills: Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English effectively in both written and oral forms.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction involving dollars and weights.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.

Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training, including food safety, sanitation, and customer service modules.

Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Ability to lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Visual acuity required.

Work Environment: Constantly in a cool environment (55-60°F), frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Moderate to loud noise levels.
