This is a part-time position. Primary responsibilities include taking excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations. This involves product knowledge, food preparation, sales, customer relations, and teamwork to create an inviting environment. Responsibilities also include processing, packaging, stocking produce, cleaning, unloading stock, reloading salvage, and performing floral clerk duties when assigned.
To succeed, individuals must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training and work collaboratively to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction, including handling money and weight measurements.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
Completion of company training such as orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.
Regular standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and smelling; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling; lifting up to 60 pounds; visual acuity including color and depth perception.
Work primarily in a cool, humid environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise, with accommodations available for disabilities.
