This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.
Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce products according to produce standards; cleaning work areas; providing customer service; unloading stock; and reloading salvage. The employee may also perform duties of a floral clerk when assigned.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training are essential. The candidate should work well with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates who speak only English.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work is performed in a cool environment (55-60°F), frequently exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and cold. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
