Job summary

Scheels in Johnstown, CO is seeking a Processing Associate for a part-time temporary role starting September and ending mid-November with the possibility to transition to a permanent position. Hours can reach up to 30 per week with evening shifts and weekend work.

The role involves handling merchandise, tagging, folding, pricing, and supporting Merchandising teams. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, can operate a handheld inventory computer/scanner, and are organized to

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming merchandise with accuracy to ensure correct counts.
• Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for display or back stock.
• Assist Merchandising Teams in distributing items to the correct Specialty Shop.
• Organize clothing hangers and size labels.
• Break down cardboard boxes and dispose of them properly.
• Operate a pallet jack to move shipments between platforms and storage areas.
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an orderly workspace.
