Job summary

Scheels in Johnstown, CO is seeking a Processing Associate for a part-time temporary role starting September and ending mid-November with the possibility to transition to a permanent position. Hours can reach up to 30 per week with evening shifts and weekend work.

• Organize clothing hangers and size labels.
• Break down cardboard boxes and dispose of them properly.
• Operate a pallet jack to move shipments between platforms and storage areas.
• Maintain high accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Merchandising Teams in distributing items to correct the Specialty Shop

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy work -

Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Hours and Duration: This part-time temporary role would start in September and end Mid-November with the option to apply for a permanent part-time or full-time role. Hours could range up to 30 per week.
• The Shift: Shift times will be evening shifts from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
• Weekends: Minimum of every other weekend (Saturdays between 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
• Pay: The hourly rate posted is a base hourly wage of $16.00/HR.
