Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Patient Support Assistant (PSA) to be an integral member of the ambulatory procedural care team. You will prepare procedure rooms, support turnover and cleaning, and assist during procedures while maintaining supplies and equipment.

Collaborating with providers and nursing staff, you will help ensure efficient clinic workflows and a positive patient experience through service, communication, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of patient care experience required.
• Experience as desk ops, nursing assistant, patient care assistant, or LPN may be relevant.
• Computer skills including Windows-based apps and intranet/internet use; ability to keyboard and navigate multiple apps.
• Exposure to electronic health record preferred.
• Work independently with strong organizational skills and multitask effectively.
• Able to communicate clearly by phone, in person, and via electronic communications.
• Willing to adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) competency.
• Additional specialty certs/training as required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper setup.
• Support efficient room turnover and cleaning between patients.
• Assist providers and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain procedural supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support workflows and patient experience.
• Transport patients to and from the department.
