Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of patient care experience required.
• computer skills including Windows- based applications and intranet/internet use with the ability to keyboard and navigate through multiple applications.
• Exposure to electronic health record preferred.
• Ability to work independently, be goal-directed and have strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be flexible and adapt to changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure appropriate room set-up.
• Support efficient room turnover and cleaning between patients.
• Assist providers and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain procedural supplies and equipment.
• Respond to patient and team needs; contribute to positive patient experience through service and teamwork.
• Transport patients to and from the department and support postoperative information reporting.
