Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Patient Support Assistant (PSA) to join the ambulatory procedural care team in Minnesota. You will prepare procedure rooms, support patient care, and help maintain equipment and supplies throughout the care pathway.

Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to efficient workflows and a positive patient experience through strong service and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of patient care experience required.
• Experience as desk operations, nursing assistant, patient care assistant, or licensed practical nurse is a plus.
• Computer skills including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use; ability to keyboard and navigate multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper room set-up.
• Support efficient room turnover and cleaning between patients.
• Assist providers and nursing staff during procedures.
• Maintain procedural supplies and equipment; support patient care and communication.
