Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Patient Support Assistant (PSA) to join the ambulatory procedural care team in Minnesota. You will prepare procedure rooms, support patient and staff needs, and assist during procedures to ensure safe, efficient care and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and supplies, coordinating room turnover, and assisting with postoperative information, vital signs, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of patient care experience required.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use; able to keyboard and navigate multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper room setup; assist during procedures and with nursing staff.
• Support efficient clinic and procedural workflows; provide patient information before and after procedures.
• Transport patients as needed and assist with specimen orders, vital signs, and supply management.
