Job summary

The Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN, part-time hours. The COTA will provide rehabilitative services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, supporting treatment plans and patient progress.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and assistive devices.
• Ability to follow treatment plans, observe patient performance, and document clinical data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Administers occupational therapy treatment programs across diverse patient populations as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Observes patient response to treatment and reports changes to the supervising therapist.
• Documents treatments provided and patient progress in the medical record.
• Maintains clean, safe treatment areas and coordinates with the rehab team.
