Constellation Service Company is seeking a dependable Household Assistant/Manager for a private Topeka residence. The role focuses on managing daily household routines, including laundry, shopping, errands, pet care, and coordinating services, with a strong emphasis on privacy and discretion.

The position offers part-time hours on Tuesdays/Thursdays and potential Wednesdays, with $25–$30 per hour depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

Previous experience in private-home housekeeping, household assistance, or household management preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for errands.
Comfortable working around children and household pets.
Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy.
Ability to perform routine physical household duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Strong professional references and demonstrated reliability.

Responsibilities

Household upkeep: make beds, tidy bedrooms and living areas, clean kitchen surfaces.
Laundry: wash, dry, fold, and put away family laundry; change bed linens and towels.
Pets: clean pet food/water bowls and maintain designated areas.
Errands & household coordination: handle approved errands, restock supplies, coordinate maintenance.
Organization & seasonal tasks: organize closets/pantries and prepare guest rooms.
