Multnomah County Library is hiring a part-time Limited Duration Production Assistant to support the Library’s print shop and coordinate distribution of print and promotional materials for the Marketing and Communications team.

This 20-hour position lasts about two years and offers county benefits; work involves operating printing equipment and coordinating with staff on material requests and inventories at the Library Operations Center in Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• One year of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties listed above.
• Ability to pass a criminal records check; background review will be individualized.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of printing equipment (paper cutter, folder, laminator, color printer).
• Distribute newly printed materials and staff requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory lists and production/distribution records.
• Cooperate with Marketing/Communications on special projects and material storage/inventories.
