Job summary

Chippewa Valley Schools seeks a Preschool Aide for Sequoyah in Clinton Township, MI. Part-time role from 11:30am–2:00pm (2.5 hours daily), starting immediately. Pay is $15.44–$16.89 per hour; replacement of Jennifer Griessel.

Supports the teacher to provide a safe, engaging learning environment for preschoolers while maintaining confidentiality. A high school diploma, 16 hours of early childhood classes, and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 16 hours of early childhood development classes and CPR/First Aid certification yearly.
• Experience working with children's groups preferred.
• Knowledge of school policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom activities under teacher supervision (crafts, games, stories, lunch).
• Help plan and organize daily events.
• Support children not toilet trained as needed.
• Monitor playground and ensure safety.
• Communicate with staff and community to share information.
