Job summary

Chippewa Valley Schools Erie Elementary in Clinton Township, MI is seeking part-time Child Care Aides to support school-age programs. Positions run Monday–Friday with morning and/or afternoon shifts, starting immediately. Pay ranges from $13.73 to $15.45 per hour and hours may vary.

Candidates should be 16+ and able to work in a busy school setting. Responsibilities include assisting in daily activities, monitoring children, and communicating with staff and families while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Experience with children’s groups or early childhood training preferred.
• Knowledge of school policies and safety regulations required.
• CPR/First Aid training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with crafts, games, stories, lunchtime and related activities.
• Help plan and organize daily events for program participants.
• Monitor children on the playground and supervise during activities.
• Communicate with staff, community, and students to share information.
