Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred
• Food safety and sanitation training helpful

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and directions for proper food preparation
• Maintains quality and freshness of products daily
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Prepares equipment for cooking
• Operates kitchen utensils and equipment for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, cutting, and kneading
• Ensures proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating and temperature checks
• Receives and inventories food and beverage products and supplies
• Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned by Department Manager
