Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher, or 48 college units plus high school diploma or CBEST.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials.
• Supervises and tutors individuals or small groups in specific areas.
• Explains subject matter, administers tests, and maintains pupil records.
• Prepares and maintains instructional equipment and supplies.
• Maintains classroom discipline and supports a positive learning environment.
• Monitors various school areas and assists staff as needed.
• Provides first aid according to safety procedures and reports incidents.
• Assists in publicizing educational programs and district objectives.
• Supervises mealtime and assists with snacks and meals.
• Performs related duties as required.
