Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team in the southern Dallas area, including DeSoto, Red Oak, and Duncanville. This part-time role (2 days/week) involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support, onboarding, and growth potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an annual range of $73,743 to $88,492 and uncapped productivity income. You will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced

Qualifications

• Current physician license (TX) and DEA required.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
