Job summary

Planned Companies is hiring janitors and custodians to clean common areas and bathrooms for properties in the Boston area. You will ensure tenants and guests have a clean, safe environment and collaborate with management on ongoing projects.

Ideal candidates bring cleaning experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus, with the ability to lift 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and strong communication is required for reporting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work on a team or independently.
• Strong verbal communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors.
• Dusting ceilings, fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash and cleaning windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting building management with projects and other duties as requested.
