Job summary

Planned Companies – Porter is hiring janitors and custodians to perform common area and bathroom cleaning for residential and commercial properties in Waltham, MA. You will ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment for tenants, guests, and vendors, while staying courteous and thorough in service.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, sanitizing, trash removal, and assisting management on projects.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience with cleaning products and floor/carpet equipment.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders and reporting repairs.
• Assist building management with projects and other duties.
