Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services is hiring friendly Janitors and Custodians to service common areas and bathrooms in residential and commercial properties in Hillsborough Township, NJ. The role emphasizes a clean, healthy, and safe environment for tenants, guests, and vendors, with a focus on courtesy, thoroughness, and proactive service.

Primary duties include floor care, bathroom sanitation, trash handling, and coordination with building management on projects and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a team or independently as needed.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types as well.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting building management with all projects and all other job duties as requested.
