Job summary

Congressional Country Club in Potomac, MD is seeking a Restaurant Bartender to provide service to members and guests and to assist in event operations (buffet, plated, a la carte).

A minimum of 1 year bartending experience, TIPS/TAM certification, and alcohol training are required. The role demands a self-starting, adaptable individual willing to work holidays, weekends, and evenings with a focus on hospitality and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate and continuous service to members/guests.
• Mix, prepare, serve, and upsell drinks.
• Work with the team to execute various event operations (buffet, plated, a la carte).
• Resolve member/guest complaints as they occur.
• Assist in closing functions by performing bar-related tasks.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and special events.
• Work during holidays, nights, and weekends.
