Job summary

BioLife is hiring for a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support role at our Michigan plasma center. You will welcome donors, perform screenings, and help maintain center operations with a focus on safety and quality.

The position requires flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with most shifts 4 to 6 hours, 3 or more days per week. Join a team dedicated to caring for donors and patients alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand/walk for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on rare occasions.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Screen new and repeat donors; take and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and suggest changes to center processes per policies.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
