Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current RN license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process.
• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection in compliance with SOPs, including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Ensure donor safety and a positive donor experience by adjusting the process as needed and answering donor questions.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system and report incidents using the PDA.
