Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screeners and Phlebotomists in California. The role involves welcoming donors, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring donor safety while maintaining accurate records. Expect to work 4–6 hours per shift, 3+ days per week, with opportunities for training and growth.

You will screen donors, document vital signs, and participate in center operations. A CPT1/CPT2/CLS/MLT license is required or preferred, with a focus on reliability and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Current CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT license in the state where duties will be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donors while ensuring donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes per approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
