Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy support in our Latham center. You will greet donors, perform screening and vital signs, and ensure donor safety. Training is provided to build skills with our donor information system and documentation.

The role requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays across 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits. It starts with paid training to get you ready for daily donor services.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to learn Donor Information System and charting processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor and staff safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Maintain donor charts, prepare charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements per approved procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
