Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a part-time security associate responsible for the physical security of the facility. The role includes inspecting visitors, vendors, and Team Members, and controlling access to the site.

You will inspect carry-in items and generate investigative reports as needed. Responsibilities include patrolling plant areas, logging truck traffic, and performing preliminary investigations into incidents.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills under stress.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members.
• Inspect carry-in items (bags, briefcases, lunchboxes, etc.).
• Write investigative reports.
• Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents as needed.
• Roam the plant to enforce security.
• Log truck traffic and inspect vehicles entering the facility.
