Job summary

Delta College is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach – Pitching on site at University Center, MI. The role focuses on developing pitching philosophy and student-athlete growth, in alignment with Delta College Athletics’ values.

The successful candidate will lead pitching instruction, assist with recruiting, game prep, and player development while ensuring academic and personal growth for athletes. Travel with the team and compliance with NJCAA rules are required.

Qualifications

• Collegiate-level playing/coaching experience.
• Knowledge of NJCAA and MCCAA rules.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop pitching philosophy and instruction.
• Plan daily pitching instruction and bullpen sessions.
• Recruit academically prepared student-athletes.
• Utilize video analysis to evaluate pitchers and improve performance.
• Travel with the team to competitions and recruiting events.
