Adjunct Faculty are responsible for instructing assigned courses, following syllabi, and maintaining office hours to support student success. Applicants must be a resident of Illinois at hire time.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics is required.
• Masters plus 18 graduate credit hours in Physics (not physics education) is required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coordinate physics courses, including lecture and lab components, ensuring materials and safety standards are met.
• Follow syllabi and communicate expectations and schedules to students.
• Maintain office hours to support student success and accessibility.
• Collaborate with faculty to improve the student experience and institutional outcomes.
• Perform related duties as required.
