Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Physician to join our clinical team Part Time at least 3 days per week, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

This independent role involves managing your own patient panel, charting from home, and building long-term relationships with patients and families while enjoying flexible shifts and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgement and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day in a mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Manage annual wellness visits and H&Ps; review meds and orders; coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Join care conferences and communicate with families as appropriate.
