Job summary

IU Health Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine in Bloomington, IN is seeking a part-time physical therapist to provide direct patient care and restore function. You will supervise assistants and students while supporting the department and patient-care operations.

The role requires an Indiana PT license, BLS certification, and may require advanced life support depending on unit policies. This is a 32-hour weekly position with opportunities to contribute across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in physical therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s in physical therapy completed before 2016.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced life support may be required per unit/department policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students as part of patient care.
• Willingly participate in activities supporting patient care, education and department operations.
