Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy prior to 2016.
• Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels.
• Supervises physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students; participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
