Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred for physical therapy services. You will collaborate with care teams, document progress, and ensure accurate billing, while supporting continuity of care and discharge planning.

The role requires Ohio PT licensure, BLS for Health Care Providers, and strong communication skills. Some travel to other sites may be required within the system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; Doctorate degree preferred.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Ohio; BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs PT evaluation and develops/implements treatment plans for referred patients.
• Documents PT evaluations, treatments, patient progress, and discharge records.
• Maintains proper billing for services provided.
• Delegates appropriate treatments to PTA and co-signs documentation.
• Communicates with other healthcare providers regarding treatment, continuity of care, and discharge planning.
