Houston Physicians Hospital – Aquatic Care Therapy in Houston, TX seeks a Part Time Physical Therapist to deliver evaluation and treatment per physician orders. The role includes patient education, documentation for billing, and collaboration with physicians and OTs in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The successful candidate will hold PT licensure, current BLS, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• State Physical Therapy licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients and physicians.
• Strong organizational skills and accurate documentation for billing.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Record Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluation and treatment as ordered by physician.
• Participate in treatment reviews, progress, and reassessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Document accurately to ensure correct billing.
• Assist OT staff as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff.
• Participate in in-service activities and facility education.
