Job summary

Candidates must have state PT licensure, be a graduate of an accredited PT program, and be proficient with EMR, Word, and Excel. Excellent communication with patients, physicians, and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• State Physical Therapy licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication with patients and physicians.
• Ability to document information accurately for billing purposes.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and Electronic Medical Record Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment as ordered by prescribing physician.
• Participate in treatment reviews, progress notes, and ongoing reassessments.
• Education of patient and caregiver(s).
• Accurate documentation to ensure timely billing.
• Direct and assist occupational therapy staff as necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients, physicians and employees.
• Provide necessary educational services and participates in facility in-service activities.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a safe, clean work environment and manage supplies.
