Job summary

Fidelity Partners is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Berlin facility in New Hampshire. The position is on-site, part-time, roughly 0.4 FTE, with up to 16 hours per week, scheduled between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The role involves on-site phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, patient flow support, and coordination with the institution's laboratory program, within the Health Services Department.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid NH certification as Medical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, EMT, or Phlebotomist.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Formal phlebotomy training through an accredited program or at least one year on-the-job phlebotomy experience.
• Proof of experience with specimen collection, packaging, shipment to referral laboratories, and maintenance of lab records.
• Proof of experience working in a correctional setting and three letters of reference.
• Ability to pass criminal and credit background checks and satisfy health/security requirements.
• Available to begin within 30 days after contract award.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site phlebotomy and laboratory support within the Health Services Department.
• Collect, process, and prepare specimens for transport per procedures.
• Assist with patient flow by measuring vital signs and updating records.
• Coordinate with laboratories and clinics for specimen handling and results.
• Maintain documentation in the Bureau Electronic Medical Record and other systems.
• Ensure privacy and security of patient information and comply with policies.
