Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP in Muncie, Indiana is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring glove use.
• 1+ year customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors with a focus on safety and donor experience.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
