Job summary

You will register patients, provide phone support to care areas, maintain LIS documentation, and train new staff while adhering to safety procedures and PPE standards. This is a part-time/PRN night position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where applicable.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Process nonblood specimens accurately and timely.
• Perform specimen preparation, labeling, and transport.
• Register patients and handle phone inquiries professionally.
• Maintain infection control and PPE practices.
• Operate LIS/EMR systems and document results.
• Train new staff and students in lab procedures.
