Beacon Health System is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy/Lab Assistant for Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. You will report to the Laboratory Director and handle specimen collection, accessioning, requisitioning, and processing for testing, while supporting QA/QC and patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma with preferred phlebotomy training and prior experience in a healthcare or clinical lab setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Phlebotomy training or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, accession, requisition, and process specimens for testing.
• Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary collections.
• Operate laboratory information system to create draw lists and print reports.
