UI Health is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory (Phlebotomy Supervisor) in Chicago, IL. The role oversees phlebotomy staff, ensures specimen quality, and maintains laboratory operations on weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years total experience in clinical pathology or related field.
• Experience supervising phlebotomy staff and reviewing timecards.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen handling and laboratory safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Phlebotomists, assigns work and reviews timecards.
• Performs phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of tests and analyses.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and records.
