Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a full-time phlebotomist for the Melrose Park, IL area. Evening shift 2:00 pm–10:30 pm with rotating weekends/holidays. Primary duties include overseeing day-to-day phlebotomy operations, staff training, and specimen processing to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science or health-care related field required.
• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) preferred.
• Strong attention to accuracy and safety in specimen handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of phlebotomy, specimen processing, and lab office.
• Staffing and training of SPD and phlebotomy staff.
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and skin puncture for all ages.
• Ensure testing and processing align with accreditation standards.
