Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, seeks a part-time Phlebotomist to join the team in Mattituck, NY. The role offers a 20-hour workweek with morning shifts (Mon-Fri 7:00am–11:30am) and rotating Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities include blood collection across ages, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ phlebotomist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
