Job summary

Labcorp in Barstow, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service. The role requires a California CPT license, a high school diploma, and relevant experience; bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) required.
3 months or more of phlebotomist experience preferred.
1 year+ phlebotomist experience and LabCorp experience preferred.
In lieu of license, apply for CA phlebotomy license at hire time may meet requirement.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
