Job summary

AdventHealth Clermont, FL is seeking a Part Time Phlebotomy Technician to join our laboratory team. The schedule is 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–1:30 pm (minus 30‑minute meal break) and alternating Saturdays at 6:45 am–12:30 pm.

You will collect specimens, perform basic lab tasks, maintain equipment, support educational activities for staff, and ensure safety policies and PPE usage. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, patient identification, and cooperation with clinicians.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training preferred.
• Ability to read English and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and blood specimen collection.
• Prepare and process specimens.
• Maintain inventory and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Assist with point-of-care testing and quality control.
• Support lab and hospital performance improvement efforts.
