Medical Associates is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to collect specimens from patients of all ages, perform venipuncture, and accurately label samples. On-the-job training is available and prior phlebotomy is preferred but not required.

Shifts include early mornings and a weekend rotation, with locations rotating between East and West Campus Lab departments. This role values teamwork, clear communication, and meticulous sample handling to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• 3 months to 1 year of phlebotomy experience or similar; on-the-job training offered.
• Education equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact, diplomacy.

Aufgaben

• Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all ages and instruct patients for special laboratory testing.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary finger sticks or heel sticks; collect other laboratory specimens; instruct patients on collection procedures and properly identify and label specimens.
• Access and create patient orders and perform data entry of laboratory test results.
• Provide backup for receptionist duties as required.
