Pride Health is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our client’s medical facility in Chesapeake, VA 23320. This 4-month assignment offers extension or conversion possibilities and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

You will perform phlebotomy duties with pediatric and geriatric patients, maintain safety, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The shift is 7am-11am, Monday to Friday, with pay at $22–$24 per hour.

Formación

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• 3+ years' experience working as a Phlebotomist.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labelled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
