Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time shift in West Orange, NJ (Mon-Fri 8:00–11:00, Sat 8:30–12:00). Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour.

The position includes responsibilities such as specimen collection, order verification, data entry, and routine lab duties while offering part-time benefits and bonus potential. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience and reliable transportation with valid license where applicable.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client data; enter billing information when required.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain phlebotomy logs and records.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport prep).
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
