Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a Phlebotomist II in Bolingbrook, IL. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:00 PM–3:00 PM; Tuesday 12:00 PM–4:00 PM; Thursday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Salary range is $21.75–$24.90 per hour with potential annual bonus based on performance.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, plus data-entry skills. Benefits vary by part/full-time status, including 401(k) options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, cleaning, phones, emails).
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics submission and maintain phlebotomy logs.
