Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Palatine, IL. The role offers FT 40 hours Mon-Fri 11:00 AM–7:30 PM with rotational weekends; a 10–15% shift differential may apply on second/third shifts. There is also a PT 22-hour option with mornings.

Pay ranges from $23.20–$24.90 per hour, with eligibility for annual performance bonus. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing and answering phones.
